He was already dead and she was freaking out + 5 days no sleep high = hysterical screaming at the corpse.
She best watch out for that crazy penguin lady.
I was thinking you might be right, but his head still looks attached to his body and I see no stab wounds in that panel. You could still be right and maybe Pasqualo held his head up on his body while screaming at it and then stabbed him a bunch.
I think Dad was still alive when Pasqualo confronted him and after she left. If she had killed him, or tampered with his dead body, she’d be sitting in MacDoonald’s parking lot, drenched in his blood, yet she’s bruised and has blood coming from her head wound and nose, just like in her previous memories.
I’ve followed your comics for quite some time, it really made me think at times, thoughts like ‘how do they come up with this stuff?’ It Hurts!! has to be one of the better comics / webcomics I’ve read, now this is different than that first large “run” but there has been a pretty astonishing degree of continuity between the two, considering the writer has changed. Not sure what’s going on, it isn’t like you’ve fused into the same person, right.
A real mystery, like this comic number 308.

I just thought to comment now because I’ve noticed a typo for the first time. On the third to last page, Katie says when it should say .
Josef and I worked together on both series. In IT HURTS, we developed the outline of the plot together, and I did the majority of the comic-to-comic writing. In PFM, Josef does the worldbuilding, plot outline, and the great majority of the comic writing. I hop in with some ideas and write the occasional comic or joke from time to time. So yeah if the 2 series are similar it’s because the same 2 dudes are working on it 🙂

I can’t recall if these are references to things we’ve seen in this comic or the others off the top of my head, but I’m looking forward to seeing any reference to them hereafter. Whether they’re from Pasqualo’s perspective, or someone else’s.
Gob, would it be possible to see the text from the panel where Pasq is ranting to the homeless folks separated? I can make out a couple words but I’m curious to see what she was actually trying to talk about.
So, sheep’s guts, does McDonalds sell Haggis in this universe? Is that what she’s eating? And is the only reason she’s not a vegan that she’s so naive that she things animals grow stuff back?
