He’s shown in It Hurts! that he respects Pasqualo a bit after he fights back against his dickishness, and this version of Pasqy nearly got killed fending off a murderbear.
I think Dadsqualo maybe has a bit of respect for the chutzpah of that, even if he thinks the motivation for doing so is dumb?
She’s also more aware than OG pasq was that Dad’s an asshole, which probably means confrontation will come sooner rather than later with them. I’m looking forward to that!

On a different note, I went back and read through PFM again, and I just remembered, did anyone else think Patience was going to be a pushover joke character that everyone picked on? I’m glad it turned out otherwise.
