Smiling Friends really has a lot of rewatchabilty factor. It's really refreshing. A lot of people have noticed this, but it also stands out as a work that's not cynical and miserable, which is definitely prevalent in lots of cartoon comedy these days. Well both Smiling Friends and alt text got something in common. They both started in comic 153. Oh wait that's just alt text lolz

why does the wolf’s arm change from weird and veiny to normal wolf-colored between panels 2 and 3?

  It’s only its hand that isn’t veiny and that’s the only thing that’s uncloaked in panel 3. I assure you, under that cloak is plenty of muscly veiny bullcrap. 🙂
