This is the stuff why I keep coming back for more.
Despite certain political tones on previous pages of your comics, the characters are interesting to me, in particular, this angel.
Forget the mutant cave bears, what the hell is up with this?? Everyone knows that tortoises aren’t native to New Jersey, so what’s this all about? Of course, it’s common knowledge that New Jersey turtle law states that *while* legal to own a tortoise within the state of New Jersey, it *is* illegal for tortoises to be bought and sold within the state proper. Although trades and giveaways are allowed, heh, I think we can dismiss that claim. Therefore, it’s pretty clear here that Gob is laying the groundwork for a literary jack knife into mystery, as Pasqualo infiltrates an illegal tortoise selling/ smuggling ring. I’m on to you Gob.
Well this was a very very semi-autobiographical comic. There was a tortoise I almost ran over but I saw him in time and picked him up and moved him to the other side of the road in the direction he was walking.
So there was definitely some sort of tortoise-type thing in South Jersey.
Whoa Gob, this update is huge and it’s only comic #11!
You gotten used to a bigger workload after the end of It Hurts!!?
I hope you’re not overworking yourself.
Also, let me guess… this grumpy balding red boiled depressed salary man stereotype will turn out to be the “dad” of a loose PFM’s universe version from the original IH Pasq but without any friends and still hated by his parents.
(If I just so happen to hit anywhere close with this wild guess, then delete this comment.)
Okay, crazy wacko theorizin’ time here for a second. Bear with me.
Knowing just how much foreshadowing Gob dumped into It Hurts!! early on, we know for a fact there’s a goldmine that none of us are seeing here. (Even with a different writer, it’s safe to say that his principles are still in effect. Go Josef!)
When combing these first few comics for something that resembles that, this stood out to me.
See, this guy is tagged as Barry Senior. Senior. (Pardon the leaps in logic that I’m going to make.) If we weren’t ever going to see his son, he wouldn’t be tagged like this. Plus, the fact that he’s tagged with a Senior allows us to logically conclude that Junior will be the more important Barry in this tale.
I’m thinking that Pasq and Barry Junior will meet and bond over the fact that they both had shitty dads, and he’ll become a major character. It’s something.
I imagine Goofle is just some guy who sits in an infosphere and answers questions all day, probably hooked up to a drug machine to keep him going.
i love EVERY panel of this. you the man gob, the cool rock music sunglasses man if i do say so myself
if you have to pick up a tortoise thats pretty much the best way to do it, as long as youre supporting it from underneath
Gob without Josef? Is this just a new stylized signature, or a rare solo outing?

Escaped from the animal shelter. Or possibly it’s heading back there to be with its family.

Could also have to do with the turtle thing from “it hurts”
hehehehe

Ah, I noticed something ( probably not the only one ), http://gobolatula.com/ithurts/?comic=092-backstage
Her three hair strands went *poing* up from the shock.

More Danny DeVito please
I’m enjoying this so far. I have not been enjoying things these days as much as I used to, so this is a welcome respite. Thank you, gentlemensch.
Wow. This pasq really is the combined likeness of pasq and aurora.
She was literally willing to DIE for a tortoise
Should have asked “can I” instead of “can you”, silly Pasq.
Something about Pasq not saying a word in this situation is very powerful and sad.
