But real talk, Pasqy’s motives DID come from a bit of selfishness, but not to the extent that she was accused of. She only feels any type of worth when she’s able to help someone else, caude lawd knows she can’t help herself.
The International version of Dynamite Headdy was brutal. They made the bosses harder, doubled a bunch of their hp and moved hitboxes, gimped the continue system, replaced the dolls with robots and cut out the dialog cut scenes. That being said I persisted, and eventually beat it. With all the secrets that made repeated playthroughs fun, the bizarre bosses like Baby Face who aged and grew more dangerous as you fought him, the rivalry with Maruyama the bounty hunter cat who kept upgrading his body in attempt to become strong enough to defeat you, the puppet theater show aesthetic of the whole game and the focus and concentration it took to get to not get a game over, it’s stuck strongly in my memory’s as one of my favorite gaming experiences.
This is the first comic of this entire series (including ‘It Hurts’) that I ever saw. It was on /co/, but I had no idea it had anything to do with any of this.
