Pasqualo has been relentlessly nice throughout all of P4M—even when it came to the situation with the Olmsteads, she managed to keep herself from snapping until it had already been resolved. It’s kinda sad at the end of the day, what pushes her over into properly acting mean is somebody who is even MORE relentlessly nice, kind, and selfless than her. I guess to Pasq, it proves that if she isn’t as perfect as Maggie, then she must think she really is an absolutely awful person. It all comes back to her rant at herself at the very start of the comic into the mirror. Poor girl.
Also she really needs to get a new haircut to deal with the fact a solid third of it got singed off, damn.

That slip up she had with the pregteen in the bus came off as a genuine “don’t look at thing! don’t think of thing! hey, what’s with the thing?… shit!” screw up, but this? This is picking a fight, straight and cold too with pre-emptive knowledge on “where to strike” levels of pressing buttons.
