oh btw i saw your comment last time about melanie being high all the time as an explanation for her state of mind. i actually went back and looked at older comics when she last appeared, and there was some fucked up shit about her dad being dead and a sort of wham line twist that she genuinely has issues with remembering shit that i somehow completely forgot about. considering she’s back to mentioning her dad like two pages ago, i think her memory issues are a side-effect of just repressing all the terrible shit that must’ve happened to her (or just her dad’s death at the very least)
Is this the chapter where Pasquaurora will finally lose it and start genociding every living creature on Earth? Or will she continue to suffer, externally in silly ways and internally in deep, agonizing self-hatred/loathing/i-wanna-die-but-i-can’t-cause-it-would-make-some-people-sad?

gob-kun, sorry for annoying you with weird hair questions, but do you have an explanation as to why pasqy’s ears sometimes stick out of her hair and other times the hair covers it up? i like to imagine she adjusts it at superhuman speeds
At first it was a mistake, but I keep alternating between ear and no ear, because I like both looks. Plus, in my head it was funny that she’s gotta constantly brush her hair behind her hair between panels.

This pain is good for our girl. Seems she’s not used to being actually criticized by anyone that isn’t her father. Pasqy may be a HOT DAMN MESS but she’s resilient enough if nothing else. But god I can’t help but pity her when she has that tearful look lol.
She might have a negative association with criticism because of her dad, if only because it also comes accompanied with some amount announcing how much he doesn’t care about her. Though can what her dad does really even be called criticism…
Oh yeah for sure. It’s gonna take some adjustment for her that people will give her criticism with the best of intentions and full of love. With any amount of fortune, she may learn to actually love herself too.
