remember that time that finn was smoochin up on flame princess at the risk of his lips? dude couldve been absolutely HAM SHANKING. A real inspiring comic for all us flame fuckers out there, thank you
Is ya boi Mark gonna be the only minor character who didn’t commit some sort of obscene act in defiance of Gob and nature because he was too busy spanking it to the idea of Ally brushing him with her shoulder?
Like I genuinely can’t see what commentary this is making that isn’t racist, it’s very clearly using the comic to talk about irl topics but if you apply it in that sense it’s just super fucking racist.
Bruh I’m pretty sure it’s making fun of stuff liek Zootopia or Bright or that Disney Zombies movie where using monsters(or predators) as an allegory for racism falls apart because they are actually dangerous.
Like the irl rhetoric that this comic is clearly delivering via it’s dialogue and framing by using the story as allegory is the type of shit you’d see on /pol/ after a police brutality case. Even in the best possible faith interpretation this comes off as super racist.
I was making fun of ham-fisted social commentary and “fantasy racism” where authors project real world problems onto fantasy settings, inadvertently resulting in unsavory implications contrary to their intent. Like equating orcs to black Americans, or mutants to gay people.
Basically its what Katie says: it’s ludicrous to equate real world racial minorities with literal monster people, and doing so is pretty racist in and of itself. Of course Katie isn’t perfect either, and she has flaws with her perspective and maybe lacks a little empathy on this subject. Really the joke’s on Katie, because she’s surrounded by people who just immediately buy into the simplistic allegory, but instead of just going along with it she stubbornly has to argue that she’s right even if it doesn’t make a difference and only alienates her from people.
Also I just wanted to do a gag with people burned from making out with a giant magma spider.
Usually I don’t like to explain myself too much, and I reserve the right to continue that policy, but I felt like your comments seemed sincere and that this arc really bothered you. So now you know my intentions. You’re free to say that I did a terrible job of conveying my message, but I hope I have at least allayed your fears that I’m a secret nazi 😉
My bad, I didn’t realize you were commenting on the false equivalence of that type of writing, I thought you were projecting real world problems onto fantastical elements unironically yourself. Whoops, Sorry for jumping to conclusions.
Is the implication that glasses boy fingered Maggie?
I can’t tell if Ally is just amused by all this or also thinks it’s kind of cool.
Fingered? I think you mean sock-puppeteered.
My man
Stinkfisted

My people. Love how none of them have any regrets.

Sorry, thats really not my intention!
What exactly was your intent because I can’t see it any other way.

These last two pages are the most out-of-left-field, “It Hurts!!”-esque pair of pages I’ve read so far.
Well done, Gobster.
