I personally like to imagine that God’s dick was spiritual in nature and that Pasqualo’s dick became God’s dick in human form, thus becoming Dick Jesus. Pasqualo’s dick will be castrated as penance for the sins of all dicks, and so through Pasqualo’s dick all dicks will be saved.
Technically, Pasqualo received God’s dick from the ethereal world of the afterlife. However, he comes back to the ‘hard’ world of the living by having his original form physically restored. The dick would have to be mailed to him from the other side, unfortunately. Just a technical thing!

I know it’s a bit hard to tell due to the similarities between Pasq’s original suit jacket and Satan’s jacket (also cuz of my lack of skill as an art guy) but it’s Satan’s jacket. Notice the shoulder dealies that weren’t there before. Plus the pants are dark like Satan’s pants now.
The most poignant part of this is coming back to a world that doesn’t even exist anymore and belting directionless towards the one thing that’s left that can make you happy.

It’s beautifully gory, but not so over the top it’s boring. I can practically hear his bones snapping back into place.

After a while, the old design really bugged me. Plus, I wanted a design I could be more expressive with. Something a little more light-hearted and kinda silly.

Well, I do consider GD to be an IH prototype. I fucked up and wrote myself into a corner but I loved the characters so I wanted to do them justice.
