VP of the student council, huh? I guess old pas thought highly of him through all the banter, even made him a “decent” iteration in this unive- ( panel 12 ) ep, never mind, there it is, some character aspects are too persistent on an universal scale.
Also, that “literally/figuratively” swing. POW! said the “gangsta” intensifies.
I’m curious to see how Mark has changed, being that his perversions were endearing to the main cast (save allison) and being the anal alternate personality might put his usual namesake attributes into a negative light.
I binged It Hurts!!! awhile back (and GOD it was amazing), saw the sequel and the fact that the title card had been posted a while back but nothing else, shrugged, and assumed it was dead.
Now I come back to reread It Hurts!!! and THIS is here, with a regular update schedule no less? Gob, this is fantastic.
It’s so amazing to see all of these characters again – and newuniverse!Pasq is great too. I can’t wait to see the direction you’ll take the plot this time; the apocalyptic, god-killing epic that was the last comic was fantastic but I have faith that it’ll go in a different but still fantastic direction this time.
Mark’s the first example of a really fairly different character here, though. It’ll be interesting to see where that goes.
That would be Josef’s touch. Josef as I understand likes Paranatural. I’ve never read it but I’ve heard it’s very good! I like the art I’ve seen a lot.
It’s funny how, throughout all 3 Pasqualo comics, Mark’s never had a consistent personality trait beyond his general air of unearned smugness. In GD, he was a fundamentalist Christian, in IH he was an utter sexual fiend, and now he’s a social darwinist capitalist brown-noser. It’s like his only real Platonic Form is that of a total asshole.
Also, GD!Mark is the Christian Right, IH!Mark is the 4chan-style Alt-Right, and PFM!Mark is the AnCap Right.
