I don’t mind if everything from here on out is unrelenting tragedy, but I just want Pasq to go Super Sayain one more time. No cyberware, no special powers, just one boy who finally understands and who remembers his own soul.

Good question. Her memories involving Tubsy are changed or gone. I’m sure she’d have an odd answer to the question. Same if you asked her about Mark’s skull being punched out the back of her head. She might say “What are you talking about?” or “Why are you asking me about this shit?” or “You’re losing it, man.”
Unfortunately there’s no way at this point she can “remember” Tubsy or Poop. They’re erased from her mind completely.
While we’re on the topic of the Hellbeast, I’ve been wondering what happened to Pasquallo when it killed him.
Like, when we see him get to hell, it’s clearly the first he’s seen of it, so did he not go before?
Did his soul somehow know it wasn’t time to go just yet because of Aurora’s fuckery? Or did he go to hell but just forget?
I need answers, Gobman!
Yeah, the expressions are perfect. You can tell exactly what Pasq is planning even though he’s going out of his way to hide it. This page had a real “dawning horror” effect on me. Absolutely brutal.

Ally and Pasqualo are so good together. Such good friends, and this felt like a genuine goodbye.
The feels were real, and I feel like Pasqy is about to go on a quest that won’t end well for him. This has been one hell of a ride.

Well damn Gob. At first this comic was what I considered a weak successor to Erik the Juiceman and idly supported it hoping you’d eventually return to EtJM. And it blossomed into an entertaining, satisfying gem of art and it will be missed.
I’m going to make the same eulogy about you several months before your own death, Gob. Now shut the fuck up and lay down, you’re staying in that casket, mister.
okay so i have a theory
Pasqualo’s soul isn’t normal, due to being around Aurora and being a cyborg. this is why he is able to remember Tubsy and Poop and Peeplop. But, this is also why he was so strange with hell at first. maybe everyone had all their panic freak-outs off screen while Pasq was off doing his thing, but very probably hell equalizes people when they enter so they don’t have an immediate freak-out and run for the staircase. By equalize i mean that hell chills them out and makes it so they’re very comfortable in the status quo they are now to live in. This is why Pasq doesnt see the point with school and attendance, he’s an anomaly in the system.
This is it, this is the one that broke me. Such a goofy ass friendship ending on as goofy a note as it could end. I don’t know how long a “lifetime” in Hell lasts in this comic, but presumably Ally and everyone else just suddenly had Pasqualo disappear, with no one knowing where the hell he went. He never died, so until he made a new universe, they just had a friend that went missing and never came back. This is the last time Pasqualo and Ally ever hang out, but at least we can always go back and re-read the old comics of these jackasses hijinks.

That’s a good question. In my head, Pasq’s soul was kinda taking a nap for that time. Not quite dead, not quite alive. He still had a beating heart!
