Amazing webcomic! I really like the presentation in terms of characterization, plot and graphics. But may be because of the theme…after all, falling in love is beautiful 🙂
Why did it load me to page 1? Are we in for some kind of Mighty Max ending time loop? Because I will fite u irl, Gob. I lub u, but there are limits. This isn’t ‘nam. There are RULES.
I may be reading too much into it, but I always liked how the art starts out so fuzzy-seeming and slowly gains focus, as if there was nothing before this story in this universe and our first glimpse of it is through bleary eyes that take a few minutes to adjust to the light.
It’s, in my opinion, “spoiler free”, but it does inform you of some things that were, once upon a time, surprises. I’m also honestly hard on it. While I personally ended up really loving this series (it’s amusing and heartfelt), I didn’t neglect critique. Anyway, I almost exclusively review manga so that’s most of what you’ll find on that site. Only other English series I’ve reviewed was Unsounded.
Don’t know if you still read these comments Gob, but I just binged on reading this yesterday because of 4chan and this was the best fucking web comic I’ve ever read and I just want to thank you for making such a beautiful web comic.
And if you are reading these comments, I’m just curious but did you keep stringing the story as it went along or did you just have it all planned in your head?
Thank you so much for reading and thank you for the compliments!
The story was planned out from the beginning for the most part: The pre-apocalypse, apocalypse, the dying, afterlife, the end. It was a collaborative discussion between myself and my buddy Josef, who was an editor / adviser of sorts for the whole series.
The dialogue, pacing, and various in-between beats were mostly improv’d by me. Knowing where we were headed, I’d sorta just go nuts along the way. It was a lot of fun making this thing.
I just found your comic and I have to say I find it quite delicious.
It is so multi-layered with imagery and idea it makes me drool at the bit.
I hope to achieve a similar level of obfuscation in my own works one day 🙂
Hey since when is grilly girl’s face up in that corner there
Are you Kojima
Oh I was about to start working on more alternate logos. Right now I got a few of them on random

Lad this is something incredibly fun to read.
God I love this comic.
Thank yoooouuu!!! 😀
Personally I felt the series started to really suck after this point in the comic.

I changed the home page so it starts on the first comic 🙂
that would be fine and nice if there actually was a new comic. I really can’t wait.
Out of curiosity, do you intend to redo the 7 first comics? They really stand out compared to the rest.

I did these two for fun a while ago but I don’t think I’ll end up replacing what’s on the site.

I read through all of this in 4 days and enjoyed it all. Thank you for a good story!
