The Chinese way of eating suppository that I know is to eat stuff to give a boost to what organs the food resemble. So eating pig brains make you cleverer and eating animal dicks make yours (I assume you are a dude) stronger.
Can’t prove that because I don’t have a cock but you get the idea. Also snake soup is pretty tasty
I’m pretty sure there’s an ancient Chinese tradition of trying to get rich old dudes to pay insane sums to eat gross shit by telling them it’ll stave off the grim reaper.
Everything about this strip is awesome, but holy hell those faces. Those faces are awesome. Especially Mr. Jones in panel 11, but also the two previous panels. And all the ones before and after that.
This page especially made me realize this comic has completely turned itself around. I mean I like that it’s much more plot-driven, but I miss the crazy off-the-wall comedy style it used to have, as incredibly immature as it was.
True that, but it seemed most of that was their early middle school days. Mine were like that too. But then again crazy shit has been happening, literally rocking their world and forcing them to deal with it. Changes every one.
This is Pasqualo taking something super seriously while drunk as fuck and making a cringeworthy sincere speech. It’s fucking hilarious. Yeah, he’s actually dealing with problems and not being nearly as whiney and that’s some cool character development, but he still manages to do it while being horribly desperate and pathetic.
And then Ally chimes in just to underline how cheesy that whole thing was.
Pasqualo and Aurora are pretty good foils for each other. Where Pasqualo’s openly angsty, Aurora covers everything with a smile. Pasqualo puts on this evil supervillain front but fails, while Aurora gives off this completely innocent and unconditionally good vibe but has already committed an unforgivable act of genocide. Pasqualo talks with Satan, Aurora’s got all this angelic stuff.
So as Pasqualo distances himself from Aurora, he starts improving himself. He’s still angsty and sad, but he’s getting better now. He’s making amends, worrying about other people instead of just how he feels. Aurora’s still static, though. She’s gone through the transformation sequence and everything, but her character is more or less the same (even though we learn more of it as time goes on).
It’ll be interesting to see those two interact later once Pasqualo stops needing a savior.
Best. Comic. Ever. Thanks for wrapping up the past 214 comics in one awesome speech, Gob. It feels like this is the comic that the true “adventure” begins. Everything was a crazy awesome set up to whatever happens from here on out.
I’m guessing, after severe damage and reconstruction, he starts off as default factory gray. After an allotted time he begins to revert back to his normal self, and whatnot.
“Yin-yang destiny couple”? Was there some sort of off-screen conversation between Pasqualo and Aurora between this chapter and the last one where Aurora informed Pasqualo of what exactly went down?
She never went into detail, but Aurora gave the basic gist of what triggers the world to end in 212. He’s just talking about how she’s pretty much is polar opposite and somehow him returning her feelings results in mass murder.
I only have the doubt of where is the original warning Aurora gave Pas (The one Luci referenced). I go to early chapters and miss it every single time.
I decided not to show Pasqualo and Aurora’s “first date” where she warned him about the “bad things” because I wanted comic 100 to be a major shock when it first came out. 😉
“My life is dope and I do dope shit!” – Allison quoting Dave Chapelle quoting Kanye West
Also, don’t tell anyone because this is ancient chinese secret, but taking ox cock as a suppository makes you strong as an ox cock.

Words to live by, right there.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
Excellent strip, as per usual. Looking forward to the future exploits of God Emperor Pasqualo.
Well put Allison, well put.
Oh and you did good too, Pasq.
Ha, just noticed Allison and Trisssh were standing beside their respective spots on the mural.

As long as funny stuffs follow the emo scenes I am fine with anything!
Party time.
Excellent.

I still don’t fucking get PasQ color scheme and what affects it.

It was only talked about after the talent show. The first time it was mentioned was here: http://gobolatula.com/ithurts/?comic=106-wha-happen
