So far in this arc, every instance that there’s a zombie “crowd” I just draw new zombies (other than Elvis, Skeezy, Frankie, Ally, & Poop). It’s kinda fun! And thank you for the compliment! I’m hoping to draw all sorts of different kinds of weirdos. Depending on the outcome of this arc, that is.

HAPPY NEW YEAR, BUNGHOLE!! I’m glad people seem to be liking The Hellbeast so far. I delayed him showing up for the longest time. He was originally gonna make an appearance before Pasq & Ally left to find Katie. Then I kept pushing him back. There was another scenario where he’d show up while Ally & Pasq were gone and Aurora would’ve taken care of him. In the end though I decided to make sure Allison could be there to confront this big motherfucker to try to avenge Tubsy’s death… And then I delayed it some more with the recent flashback arc since I STILL wasn’t sure how to write The Hellbeast’s personality. In the end, since this is a silly comic, I decided to make him a big goofy mega-asshole trolling the shit out of everyone. I gave him a bit of my “voice,” too. I find that even when the stakes are high and things are tense and dramatic in this arc, The Hellbeast just doesn’t give a shit. There’s something about a really nasty jerkoff of a villain that’s kind of satisfying I find. 🙂
