yo gobo just binged the last 100 comics, the writing is fucking masterful. everything is kinda off kilter, and i love it. the dialog between pasqualo and alison is like me and every friend i have. i just attract the sort of people that call each other dickeaters and i think you get that and i think you love it as much as i do

I love how Pasqualo’s dad just sits there calmly, arms crossed. Unblinking, never breaking eye contact while he burns away. Just so he can traumatize his son one last time before he dies.
Considering she is all about singing and what her singing does, she is just three heads and six wings short of being a Seraphim. “Enflamer of love”. Heh.
Where do I begin? Oh man, Tubsy jobbed so hard. Pasq’s rap made me crack a smile, so points for the lyricism which surprised me. And Geez, his reaction at the end.
Just wanted to drop by to say that in this the year of our Lord 2016, new readers are still coming across this and being blown away along with the rest of the world.
I keep coming back to this, and honestly, page 5 is incredibly well done. It’s a simple 3×3 grid, but the shot reverse shot back-and-forth gives it a very pleasing checkerboard composition. The way it starts off with normal colors in the first row, then the unearthly glow in the second, and finally the green light bringing death and destruction in the third produces a nice gradient down the page as the tension builds and breaks free. It works so well, especially for the fact that this is the exact moment where everything goes wrong and the world gets flipped on its head. That whole page is just burned into my memory now.
Also, you’re REALLY good at expressions. Aurora’s pained, guilty smile on page 14 hits so, so hard.
