I feel Frank is drawn improperly in the last panel. Up until this point, he’s made to seem like a guy who doesn’t really care about the stuff he does and the consequences of his actions. It just feels really weird and out of character to see him feeling guilt for what is probably a minor offense compared to other things he’s probably done up to this point in the history of his party.
I think that’s actually really really important here.
Like with the other kids at the school (barring Stephanie), Frank has actually become friends with Katie.
In every other situation with Frank, he’s just been Franking around being Frank. But now, now he’s hurt his friend. His demeanor in the last panel drives home the fact that Katie has quickly become more than an infiltrator here, she’s become friends with these fucked up kids.
