I realize I have already posted a handful of comments on this update, Gob, but I feel I must make another. When I was first introduced to your comic, it was via my BFF who I believe spoke to you on twitter recently.
I think she showed it to me to begin with because Pasqualo and Ally reminded her so much of the special and increasingly rare type of friendship that we have. Whenever I see updates like these, I always have to chuckle because I feel like you’re literally observing us at times. I don’t really need reminders of why I love my best friend (truly my only friend) so much, but thanks for reinforcing our belief that it’s okay to be such shitbirds together.

Pasqualo is sort of an exaggeration of younger me (my most annoying traits). Ally’s looks are based on an old friend of mine and her personality is based on another old friend of mine.
Most of the characters are based on bits and pieces of myself, friends of mine, or people I’ve met.
As for Pasqualo’s sort-of crush on Kim, I was pretty girl-crazy at his age myself. So yeah maybe that aspect of him is based on me as well!

It encourages violence against womyn and misogyny, and I am also very sad to hear Pasqualo is not feminist, since I have been following this comic believing him to be a fantastic example of equality, clearly being cyborgkin and having an ethnically/speciesly diverse cast.
